    At a Melbourne hospital campus, resin injection was selected instead of traditional concrete underpinning because excavation would have created significant disruption to hospital operations. The treatment was delivered through small injection points in areas with highly restricted access.

    A site-specific engineering assessment is required to confirm whether resin injection, ground improvement or another foundation repair method is appropriate.

    The response of the structure can be monitored during treatment using precise level-measuring equipment. Where appropriate, continued injection may also apply controlled lifting pressure to re-level sections of the building.
