Joe has a wealth of expertise in construction, civil engineering, ground engineering, and specialised remediation industries in Australia and New Zealand.
Drawing from his extensive frontline experience and supported by tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Construction and Master of Project Management), Joe has held diverse roles across project, design and construction management, property development and commercial management and possesses a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these sectors. Since 2013, Joe has held pivotal leadership positions at Mainmark, including roles as Commercial Manager, Group Head of Operations, and General Manager. In his current capacity as General Manager, his responsibilities encompass providing leadership and guidance to senior management, ensuring governance, overseeing strategic objectives and organisational development, and promoting the growth of Mainmark.

Russell began his career with Mainmark during their extensive remediation works delivered as part of the rebuild for the damage left by the earthquake that rocked Newcastle in 1989.
Since day one, his engineering knowledge and innovative approach has seen him progress from being “on the tools” to senior leadership roles within the company. Russell’s commitment to excellence and focus on best practice has resulted in the successful completion of thousands of major projects across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Thailand, including the award-winning Christchurch Art Gallery Re-levelling Project. It’s Russell’s innovative mindset that sets him apart. He has been the catalyst for developing and implementing many industry-leading technologies that ensure Mainmark Australia remains the leading supplier of ground engineering solutions. As Business Development Advisor, Russell is pivotal in developing our strategic direction on a regional and global level, utilising his knowledge and experience to support our entire operation.

Laurie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration and has 25 years of hands-on experience.
As a civil and structural engineer specialising in construction operations, Laurie’s technical experience is supported by his inventive thinking to develop unique solutions to the design and construction of residential, industrial and commercial buildings. This includes infrastructure, multi-residential, large industrial and warehousing, and commercial building applications and structural projects. Laurie has also managed teams and held leadership positions in sales, design and construction and succeeded in delivering relevant solutions across all three. As Regional Business Development Manager New South Wales and ACT, Laurie is tasked with identifying new business opportunities, developing the local capability and providing technical solutions and support to the market.

After relocating to Sydney, Rob built a highly functional and successful business division of a recruitment agency from the ground up. Rob moved into a sales position as a leader in construction materials and transformed a weakened business unit, enabling it to exceed sales targets.
