Slab Lifting Specialists

Floor re-levelling without disruption

A dependable ground improvement solution ensures level, stable slabs for the effective operation of equipment, vehicles, and even foot traffic

Mainmark has been re-levelling factories, warehouses, and hardstand areas for nearly 30 years using proven, non-invasive solutions to maintain productivity.

Our experienced team uses quick and cost effective solutions to improve fragile or sinking foundations caused by weak ground beneath factories and warehouses. Filling large voids and holes will re-level and support sinking slabs or floors, reducing costly operational and safety issues

Key challenges faced by New Zealand’s Warehouse & Distribution sector include

Warehouse & forklift traffic

Over time, traffic can cause deterioration of the slab edge. The resulting misaligned concrete slab joints are a hazard for forklift operations. As the forklift travels across the step between the slabs, a jolt can cause the load on the fork to move.

Driveways & truck yards

Open slab joints allow rainwater to infiltrate the subgrade beneath the transport yard pavement. As trucks travel across the slab, the soil fines are pumped out from underneath the slab, removing the slab’s support. Over time, the void beneath the slab increases.

Machinery & equipment support

Vibrations from machinery can cause the founding soils to settle and base slabs to subside. In extreme cases, the vibrating machinery can cause the surrounding slab to bounce up and down, causing distress to people working nearby.
